On the day of the move his two best men who happened to be brothers, not Mike’s, arrived and quiet efficiency got my stuff loaded and gone. “I hired Helping Hands to pack and move me from Atlanta to Austell, GA. I appreciated how flexible they were as my schedule changed due to my closing on the new home being delayed. Everyone I communicated with was very friendly and courteous. Two of the four of the movers hired arrived somewhat sluggish and appeared tired (because I did an afternoon move). One tip –I would suggest doing a morning move, that way your movers are fresh and energized which will ultimately affect how many hours the move takes (which will affect how much you pay). I was VERY satisfied with the move overall.”

“HHMS helped us move from off post to on post (Fort Benning). Michael and his crew showed up and got right to work. He did a quick walk through, talked about how it would work, and addressed pricing again to eliminate any confusion. After the walk through he estimated it would take 3 hours. Exactly 3 hours later his crew was completely done and ready to leave. I recommend HHMS to anyone doing a local move.”

“Michael and his team did my family move this past weekend. Michael and his crew were very professional. They said “yes sir” and “no sir” the whole time. They worked very quickly and efficiently. They did not cause any damage to anything. There was one little issue but Michael did everything in his power to correct the issue and when the work was done we renegotiated on a fair price. Nothing in life or business is ever perfect but Michael took responsibility and made changes to accommodate the customer. That’s the best you can ask for when something unexpected happens. Michael was honest and fair. I would highly recommend him in the future.”

Michael and his team did a job to be proud of, they moved a 2150 sq. ft. household, 3 hours away loaded, unloaded, and assembled things that had to be taken apart to either get in or out of the houses. “I personally would not use this moving service again . The price may look appealing but the damages that were made to my personal items far exceeds what I would have paid to go with some of the more reputable companies. I have struck gold a few times using personally owned and family owned services vs the big time companies that I use time and time again and would never look back . This just wasn’t one of them . My suggestion ….do not use this “company””
I find it odd you rate me so low here but during the difficult move you were very pleasant and appreciative. I even knocked $50 off your final price. I’m sorry you feel this way, If I had known sooner I would have done my best to address your concerns or just stop the job instantly, so you could hire someone else more to your liking.

It was a pleasure helping you on your move. We appreciate your business. The only dissatisfaction I was aware of was the price at the end due to having to make two trips in the 26 foot truck. Some of those costs were still retained by us. Moving a 4+ bedroom house and garage 2 hours away for less than $1700 is a steal. Again, I wish we could have better satisfied your wants.

They were professional, polite, affordable, timely, and if felt like they cared about our things as they packed them. They even took time to help me load my car with heavy heavy boxes! I can’t say enough good things about this company! They were a complete blessing! We have moved several times with the Army, this was my first move paying out of pocket, I would do it again in a heartbeat with Michael and his crew!! Easy, Afordable, and eased the stress of last minute move!! If you are debating a big moving company, prices, or if it’s worth hiring someone…It is worth hiring him! He even arranged the boxes in the garage so I could park in it! This is a family owned company and it felt like family was moving us, without the complaining! Thnak You So Much! You told us to arrive late because you were still getting your truck. Using equipment is our ellective. We lift furniture by any means necessary. I’m sorry for your disappointment.

The 2 guys worked good but they did not load the truck correctly creating alot of un-used space in front of truck, This created big problems for me, i had alot of boxes and nick nacks left

Yes Sir, I’m sorry about it all not fitting, and the much wasted space due to your explicit instructions “to only putting my TV in the moms attic.” That attic will hold 12-20 boxes.

Helping Hands provided experienced movers to load my truck. Arrived about 30 minutes later than agreed time. Good job loading truck to avoid damage to furniture for an 800 mile move. Would use again.
